Titration which is used to determine the concentration of virus and bacteria is called as miscellaneous titration. This is often called as assay.
Conditions for volumetric titration:
Chemical reaction must be simple.
The reaction should be immediate under the experimental conditions
There should be marked change in the properties of substance to be analyzed at equivalence point
The end point should be well defined under experimental condition
